BenQ Solar AC Unison modules feature an integrated microinverter that directly converts DC electrical current produced by a solar panel to grid compliant AC current, suitable for use by home appliances. This feature means a separate, traditional solar inverter is not required in systems hosting all AC solar panels.
AC Unison systems perform better than traditional systems under situation where some panels may be shaded or otherwise impacted, resulting in a 5 - 25% improvement on energy output.
