To help out, Cleaner Climate & Energy Matters have teamed up to offer 2 x on-grid solar systems to two lucky Greyhound customers.
An on-grid solar system provides a reliable source of renewable energy and can provide up to 25% of the average households energy (excluding hot water).
This equates to almost $200 per year in energy savings and a GHG reduction of up to 1.5 tonnes!

- Entry is only valid upon completion of a Carbon Offset through Cleaner Climate's partnership with Greyhound Australia found at https://www.greyhound.com.au/AboutGreyhound/travel-green.aspx
- There will be two draws. Each prize is 6 x 175 watt Solarfun / Suntech panels with a SMA Sunny Boy 1100W outdoor rated grid connect inverter (SB1100), valued at AUD12,000

- Only one entry per offset.
- Minimum age of entry is 16
- Applicant must qualify for the Solar Homes and Communities Plan (SHCP) Government Rebate. To qualify for the government rebate, the installation must occur at your usual place of residence and is only available to households earning under $100 000 per annum in taxable income minus deductions. - Federal Government Solar Homes and Communities Plan (SHCP) $8,000 rebate along with the Renewable Energy Certificates associated with the solar system are applicable and will be assigned to Energy Matters (RECs are assigned for a 15-year assignment).
- The competition will commence on Monday 10th November 2008, at 9am and closes on the 09th November 2009. For Victorian residents see condition 26.
- The winners for each draw will be the first valid entry drawn from a barrel containing all entries received for that 6 month period at 12:00noon at Cleaner Climate's premises at 3 Longs Lane, The Rocks, NSW 2000 exactly one month following the 6 month close.
- These dates are 10 June 2009 and 23rd November 2009. The draw times will be 12.00pm at Cleaner Climate Pty Ltd, 3 Longs Lane, The Rocks, NSW, 2000 SYDNEY, Australia
- The winner will be published on both Greyhound Australia's and Cleaner Climate's website and will also be contacted by telephone and email and details published in The Australian Newspaper, Public Notices Section on 17 June 2009 for the first draw and 17 December for the second draw. If there is a second chance draw the winner will be published on the 03/03/2010.
- The winner will notify Cleaner Climate of the address where prize is to be delivered and installed.
- Energy Matters will deliver and install prize at the winner's residential address.
- If winner does not claim the prize or cannot be contacted after 90 days of draw then a second draw will take place at the Promoters address and the new winner will be contacted via telephone or by email if phone is not available. The draw will be scheduled for the 02/03/2010
- Total potential prize pool value is $24,000. There is one prize draw per 6 months.
- The judges' decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
- No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize.
- Entries remain the property of the promoter and cannot be returned. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.
- By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages.
- The entrant, in providing their telephone number, agrees that they are the account holder (or their nominee) and their contact details can be used for marketing purposes for an indefinite period.

- Directors, management, employees, immediate families, retailers, suppliers, associated companies and agencies related to Greyhound Australia, Cleaner Climate and Energy Matters are not eligible for this lottery.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/ or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any income), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
