Moreland Solar Bulk Buy Program

Moreland Solar Bulk Buy

Residents of the Moreland City Council area in Victoria have been offered special pricing on good quality, fully installed solar power systems through a special bulk buy program.

The Moreland Solar Bulk Buy program is being run by Positive Charge and is part of the Zero Carbon Evolution initiative of  Moreland City Council.

The heavily discounted solar power systems, supplied and installed by national provider Energy Matters, can be purchased outright or acquired under Energy Matters’ zero deposit, ‘Save As You Go‘ payment plan.

Various system sizes are available to suit single occupant households through to large families, and for those wanting to reduce their power bills substantially or wipe them out altogether.

Positive Charge is an initiative of the Moreland Energy Foundation, an award winning organisation supported by Moreland City Council  that was established more than 13 years ago. Positive Charge provides energy efficiency advice to household businesses, community groups and schools and offers a range of other related services.

Moreland City Council has been very active in reining in its carbon emissions and assisting local households and businesses to do the same. Its Zero Carbon Evolution strategy aims to achieve a 22 per cent reduction in carbon emissions across the council area by 2020. The Council has also been praised for its recent decision to rule out direct investments in fossil fuels; the first council in Victoria to do so.
