SMA School Meter Box

SMA School Meter Box

The School Meter Box from SMA allows you to display the energy load of a meter. When connected to the S/0 output of an energy meter the pulses are converted to a signal which is read by the Sunny WebBox.

This data can then be presented via the Sunny Portal web page, locally via the SMA Flashview program or directly to the Sunny Matrix for a brilliant public display. The data can also be captured on a local PC for use on another web page or for data capture. ItĘs small, compact, and blends right in to the PV system.

User Friendly

  • Easily monitor the AC power load
  • Works seamlessly with the Sunny Portal and Flashview
  • Easy integration with SMA communication products
  • Works with most energy meters
  • Helps display the energy consumption data as required by the National Solar Schools Program (NSSP)

Flexible

  • Integrates easily into existing PV systems
  • Easy installation
  • Converts the S/0 signal to RS485 data
  • Works with most energy meters
  • Multiple meter boxes possible per application for comparison
