SunLock Solar Panel Frame Mounting System - L Foot (Steel roof)
The SunLock L-Foot (Steel roof interface) is used at regular intervals along the
SunLock rail to secure the rail to the roof or structure of the building (roughly 1 per panel along the length of each rail -
see brochure for more detail on quantity requirements).
Installation: SunLock L-feet are first fixed in a straight line along the length of the the proposed rail location (in the purlins beneath the roof material), then the rail is fixed to the upright tabs on each
SunLock L-Foot. An elongated rail fixing hole in the upright tabs ensures any undulations in the roof line are compensated out of the frame therefore eliminating physical stress on the delicate solar panels. Each
SunLock L-Foot is supplied with a general purpose roofing screw for fixing to timber of steel bearers.
Like all SunLock framing clamps, a 6mm allen key is the only tool needed to secure the clamp. Sold as an individual item.
