MASH (More Australian Solar Homes) is a not-for-profit community solar bulk-buy program that makes rooftop solar and battery storage more accessible for households, businesses, and organisations across Central and North West Victoria. Because it negotiates group pricing with approved solar retailers, participants get better value than they would if shopping individually.
The program is now owned and operated by the Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance (CVGA), a not-for-profit body based in Castlemaine. The CVGA works with local councils to run solar bulk-buy programs that serve the specific needs of their communities — not shareholders.
