Redx Manufacturing tour Energy Matters TV

In episode 3 of Energy Matters, host Roshan took viewers inside Redx’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. With an exclusive tour led by Sherry Feng, he explored the research, development, and production of the RX-7000Plus battery system. This all-in-one energy storage solution is designed to bring greater efficiency, reliability, and flexibility to Australian homes.

About the episode

During his visit, Roshan got a behind-the-scenes look at how Redx combines human expertise with advanced automation to create industry-leading battery technology. The tour started in the R&D department, where engineers develop and test prototypes on-site, ensuring continuous innovation.

On the manufacturing floor, Roshan saw the highly automated production process in action. The production line begins with the inverter, where a fully automated system creates the motherboard before human workers step in to install smaller components. At every stage, rigorous testing is conducted to guarantee quality and safety, culminating in the final assembled inverter—ready to be integrated with the RX-7000Plus for a complete energy storage solution.

Sherry Feng also discussed the RX-7000Plus’s flexible capacity options and its ability to be used in multi-unit setups, providing homeowners with scalable, high-performance energy storage.
