FIMER Australia gives back to Australian Non-Profits with EV Charger Giveaway: Apply Now

Here at Energy Matters, we love a worthy cause!

FIMER Australia, in celebration of World EV Day and the launch of their new electric vehicle charging range in Australia, is giving back to Australia’s deserving non-profit community.

The company, a leading player in the global EV charging market, will be donating electric vehicle chargers to two not-for-profit community groups in Australia who are passionate about sustainability and the future of e-mobility.

Applications will open today (September 9th).

FIMER’s solution to Australia’s problem of EV ‘range anxiety’

Despite COVID-19 and a decrease in overall vehicle sales, the sale of electric vehicles has continued to grow in Australia, according to industry reports. In addition, there has been an increase by over 20% in the number of electric vehicle charging stations across the country – and, with this uptick in EV adoption, the demand for charging infrastructure will only continue to increase.

Jason Venning, Country Manager of FIMER Australia, highlighted, “There is a lot more to be done at a local, state and federal government level to drive the growth of electric vehicle adoption in Australia but some of the incentives being offered now will give it a healthy kick-start. Investing in highway charging infrastructure and introducing electrical vehicle chargers now at the home, office and in public areas will help minimise consumer fears about range anxiety and encourage the consideration of an electric vehicle as their next purchase.”
