In this episode of Road to ZERO, Roshan catches up with Patrick Pragasam, Training & Partner Program Manager at Fronius Australia.
Patrick and Rosh dive into the Fronius Reserva – Fronius’ very first home energy storage system. They explore how Reserva integrates with existing Fronius inverters, its smart energy management features, and what this means for homeowners wanting to add battery storage.
The Reserva will be officially showcased for the first time at All-Energy Australia on Oct 29–30, giving installers and homeowners a first look at what could be the next big player in home storage. Register for your free All Energy Australia tickets.
Meet our guest
Patrick Pragasam is a key member of the Australian team at Fronius, serving as a Sales Engineer and Training & Partner Programme Manager. He features regularly in webinars and CPD-training sessions for installers — for instance, the “Get Fully Wired with Fronius” courses offered in Adelaide and Hobart that he leads. His role emphasises helping installers understand new products (such as the Wattpilot EV charger) and system design best practices, so he’s very much the bridge between Fronius’s engineering pedigree and everyday installer needs.
Fronius
Fronius is an Austrian family-owned technology company founded in 1945. Today, it operates globally with roughly 6,700 employees and exports around 90 % of its output. Its business covers three core areas: solar-energy systems (in-house branded as Solar Energy), welding technology (Perfect Welding) and battery-charging systems (Perfect Charging). In Australia, Fronius is especially known for its inverter and storage technology that support the vision of “24 hours of sun” — making renewable energy not just a daytime solution but something that works around the clock.
