SMA Power Reducer Box

 

Allowing network operators the ability to remotely control the amount of electricity being exported to the mains grid, the SMA Power Reducer Box is a solution not only for large scale solar farms but also electricity companies as a way of managing output from multiple installations of grid connected home solar power systems within an area. 

 

The Power Reducer box works by translating transmitted setpoint values into control commands for the Sunny WebBox, which then forwards those commands to the inverters.

 

The SMA Power Reducer Box works with the following SMA inverters incorporating reactive power features:
