The ACT government in Canberra has awarded the third round of its Next Generation Energy Storage Grants to local solar installers. Households and businesses interested in installing a discounted battery storage system should contact the grant winners directly.
The ACT government’s battery roll out is a bid to make the territory run on 100 per cent renewable electricity by 2020.
Homes and businesses who install a battery connected to a new or existing solar system will receive support of up to $825 for each kilowatt (kW) of sustained peak output.
