Climate Action Network is a community based initiative to fight climate change. It has grassroots groups with distributed leadership throughout Australia. Its mission is to bring focus to climate change and climate action from Australians.
Energy Matters attended a local community Climate Action seminar in Burwood, NSW, in the suburbs of Sydney on Monday April 29, 2019. We reported on the bulk of the meeting back in April.

Next time you are having a discussion about renewables, and someone brings up the cliche “the sun doesn’t shine all the time and the wind doesn’t blow all the time”, then you should reply:
“We have water 24/7 and it’s not raining all the time!”
Manjot Kaur is the Co-ordinator, NSW School Strike 4 Climate. An impassioned young woman who is going to be where the rubber meets the road when climate change really starts to take effect. Her trouble is that she is only 17 and can’t vote!
Remember: There is no Planet B!
Support Climate Action Network if you can. It’s the next best thing that you can do next to going solar yourself.
