The team at SunLock are celebrating after producing and delivering 5 kilometres of solar panel rail for a custom order in record time.
The rails were manufactured from raw material to engineered product in only 7 days and delivered to the project site just 2 days later.
In what is SunLock’s largest single delivery within Australia to date, the rails will be used for a 500kW Melbourne rooftop solar power project; which features enough solar panels to provide the power needs of around 100 homes.
More than 700 individual sections of 6106-T6 aluminium rail were produced for the order; in lengths of 5.7 metres and 8 metres.
