More than just an official sponsor, Yingli Solar will also help power the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The array produces enough electricity to power 240 homes and avoids the release of release of more than 2,560 tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year.

The panels used on the stadium are Yingli’s YGE Series modules; which are also a popular choice in Australian home solar power installations.
