GoodWe

GoodWe, a global leader in solar technology, is making waves in Australia—not just on rooftops, but in classrooms too. Their EcoSmart Kids program, launched in 2023, is a hands-on educational initiative aimed at primary school students from Grades 2 to 6. Delivered via GoodWe’s custom-built Smart Innovation Vehicle, the program brings interactive workshops directly to schools across Victoria, blending environmental science with creativity. Students learn about climate change, renewable energy, and sustainability through engaging activities and animated content. The program culminates in a creative competition where students submit projects—ranging from art and poetry to models and music—that showcase their understanding and passion for the environment. Winners are celebrated at a championship event, with past ceremonies held at the Melbourne Home Show, featuring notable guests and awarding prizes worth up to $2,000. In 2024, the program expanded significantly, reaching nearly 2,000 students and incorporating new modules developed in collaboration with the Great Barrier Reef Legacy, highlighting the role of renewable energy in coral conservation. Through EcoSmart Kids, GoodWe is not only educating the next generation but also inspiring young Australians to become proactive stewards of the planet.
