There’s now another very good reason for Australians to go solar with Energy Matters’ parent company, SunEdison.
A lucky Australian household* will be the recipient of a fully installed Tesla Powerwall home battery system, or a major cash prize. The Powerwall prize package also includes supply and installation of top quality components necessary to connect Powerwall to a solar panel system.
The competition is very simple.
By submitting for a quick quote and going solar or upgrading a solar power system through SunEdison Australia, customers will automatically be in the running to win. In the event the winner has already installed or ordered a Powerwall through the company; a major cash prize of $11,499 will be awarded.
The competition started a couple of hours ago (February 23) and ends on May 28. The winner will be chosen on June 3, 2016 using a fully randomized and independent third party drawing solution.

The revolutionary Tesla Powerwall has taken Australia by storm since launched here in late December and its arrival heralded the beginning of Australia’s next solar revolution – energy storage.
Australia was the first market in the world to receive Powerwall units for sale, stirring up some envy overseas – including in its country of origin; the USA.
SunEdison Australia was among the first local Tesla Energy Authorized Resellers able to offer the residential energy storage solution.
SunEdison’s installation professionals have been installing battery systems throughout Australia since 2006 and have the skills to ensure each Powerwall unit will achieve maximum performance. The company is also authorized to supply Tesla Powerwall to other Australian solar companies and resellers.
Tesla Powerwall enables solar households to make the most from their high-value solar electricity.
Measuring 1300 mm x 860 mm x 180 mm, Powerwall offers 6.4kWh of usable capacity, is wall mounted and housed in stylish, robust casing tough enough to withstand whatever Australian weather conditions can throw at it.
*Please note: ACT, NT and WA residents not eligible to enter competition.
