Global Energy Revolution Saturday 28 March 2026

Global Energy Revolution goes to air this Saturday, the 28th of March, delivering a one-hour episode jam-packed with the clean energy technology transforming the way we live, work, and play.

Energy Matters, Australia’s trusted source of renewable energy news and education, returns to the small screen after 2025’s successful 8-episode series Energy Matters. Global Energy Revolution will transport viewers from a suburban home in Adelaide to China, where the manufacturing mecca develops, creates, and delivers some of the world’s most exciting technology.

What viewers can expect

Hosted by Energy Matters’ CEO, Roshan Ramnarain, and intrepid interior designer, James Treble, the one-hour episode promises to pull back the curtain on the products and technology reshaping how households control their energy usage. From home battery storage to electric vehicles, portable power stations to BIPV, Global Energy Revolution will show viewers how the technology is made and what it practically means for a household looking to save money and reduce their environmental impact.

In a time where energy security is a prevailing issue, Global Energy Revolution is poised to provide practical advice for homeowners looking to take hold of their energy future.

“Recent conflicts have highlighted the need for the average Australian to explore electrification,” said Roshan, “not only is solar energy, energy storage, and electric vehicles a great way to reduce household expenses, but it offers energy independence in an unstable climate.”

“Global Energy Revolution was conceived from the feedback we receive daily from our customers,” Roshan continued, “Australians want to take control over their energy production and usage, but often don’t know where to start. With so much misinformation in the media and an industry flooded with brands and products, knowing how to get the ball rolling and choose the right technology for your circumstances is essential. Global Energy Revolution will arm viewers with the information they need to make an informed decision”.

Inside the technology and the brands behind it

Global Energy Revolution is powered by brands looking to make a difference, both at home and abroad. GoodWe will take viewers through their extensive manufacturing facilities as well as their all-new zero-carbon building. We’ll see their all-in-one energy storage solution and BIPV products on the manufacturing floor and then in action. Geely opens up its mammoth production line as viewers are treated to the EV and Hybrid manufacturing process.

eHomes will showcase how a South Australian family electrify their home in a day with solar, battery storage, and a heat pump. Alpha ESS transport us to their factory that produces the battery storage units that Australians love. BLUETTI will reveal the R&D and processes that bring Australians the portable power stations powering individuals and families on the go. And Solar Service Guys, GoodWe, and AIKO team up to deliver power to Forever Friends Animal Rescue.
