Tried and tested equipment

Energy Matters only supplies equipment that have been tried and tested for Australia's harsh conditions.

When you buy from us, you can rest assured the components and installation workmanship will be first class - serving you well for many years. While others will make that claim, here's an important difference:

We simply do not cut corners whether it's the nuts and bolts, the cables, the frame, panels or inverter - and this all helps ensure your system will achieve its maximum possible efficiency, therefore providing you with a more rapid return on your investment; and a longer trouble-free life.

While others may skimp on mounting hardware and fasteners; distracting you from these issues with the major components; every aspect of an Energy Matters supplied and installed solar power system is top-notch.

Genuine warranties

Beware of "grey market" components - these are genuine components not supported by the manufacturer. For example, all our solar panels come with at least a 20 year warranty and 25 years on all our grid connect solar panels ; but the same panel from a "grey market" distributor, such you may buy from some merchants on auction sites, will not have any support from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

With so many manufacturers popping up and sometimes disappearing - the length of a warranty can also be misleading. A 25 year warranty is only good if the manufacturer is around for 25 years. Energy Matters only works with reputable companies - in fact all of the companies who supply us with solar panels are listed on stock exchanges around the world. Like us, they are here for the long haul.

We also service all our own warranties via our dedicated warranty department - this means in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, we won't refer you to the manufacturer - we'll look after your warranty claim ourselves!

Government approved components

Our attention to quality was recently illustrated when Energy Matters was selected by the New South Wales Government to be the sole supplier of monocrystalline solar panels for all regions of New South Wales for just about every Government department and project in the state.

In order for you to receive rebates, the equipment must be approved by the Australian government - for example, in Australia only solar panels certified as IEC 61215 can be used for systems receiving Government rebates. Many people have been caught out when applying for rebates only to find their equipment does not comply. Energy Matters only supplies equipment that complies fully with rebate requirements.

The best accredited installers

All our installers are BCSE (Clean Energy Council) accredited; a nationally recognized qualification that indicates competency in design and installation of renewable energy systems, plus demonstrated knowledge of industry best practice standards and all relevant Australian Standards.

However, even within the BCSE installer community, some are better than others.

We pay for the best installers so you get the best quality installation. We are very picky in who we allow to install systems for our customers and "rush job" is a concept we refuse to participate in. Our installers must continually meet our high standards of quality, be very familiar with the components we provide and have a very high degree of accountability for any work performed.

Our installers take the time to ensure your system is positioned for maximum efficiency. We believe near enough is not good enough for an Energy Matters customer as this could translate to thousands of kilowatt hours of electricity production lost over the life of a system!
