Solar Hot Water - Queensland State Manager
The perfect candidate would need to have a strong background in the hot water industry. You are passionate about renewable energy and are a great communicator with your colleagues, customers and the service people who install our solutions. You can manage your workload efficiently, manage contractors and co-ordinate installations and, from time to time, work hands on with our installers.
Responsibilities
- Handling all SHW Inquiries in your state
- Dealing directly with customers, performing site inspections
- Preparing quotations
- Ensuring stock levels are at their optimum to meet installation demand
- Problem solving
- Ensuring our Quality Standards are met and the State's regulatory requirements are adhered to at all times on all types of job.
Skill Set Requirements
- SHW Experience - knowledge of current SHW systems
- Great communicator at all levels
- Be able to manage contractors
- Be familiar with codes and practices of HW Industry in your state
- Able to work unsupervised
- Sales experience an advantage
- Plumbing and gas license (preferable)
- Computer skills are desirable

Project Manager - Greater Bendigo Region
The perfect candidate would need to have a strong project management or contract management background. You are passionate working with people and are a great communicator with your colleagues, customers and the service people who install our solutions. - Working closely with our Partner Organisations to facilitate community information sessions, collect leads, coordinate installations and report on jobs completed

New South Wales (Leichhardt) - Warehouse Manager
Principal Accountability
The Warehouse Manager takes on the responsibility for packing and shipment of solar power systems in NSW incl. all related tasks.
Functions and responsibilities
- Putting system orders together
- Packing systems
- Ensuring system is packed safely to avoid transport damages
- Organize the warehouse
- Keep the warehouse tidy
- Organizing shipments of solar systems on site
- Stock management through Netsuite
- Manage all necessary steps involved in the shipment process within Netsuite
- Keep all tools and equipment in good order
Decision Making
- Scheduling and organizing shipments at a reasonable time ahead autonomously
- Report to the install co-ordinator when stock orders need to be undertaken
- Report broken or missing equipment to install co-ordinator to repair or replace them

New South Wales (Leichhardt) - Sales officer
Principle Accountability
The Sales Officer Solar Power has principal accountability of following up outbound sales leads via phone and email and conducting site visits to clients interested in solar power and solar hot water systems in the Sydney region.
Functions and responsibilities
- Actively follow up sales leads as generated from our website/other lead generating sources
- Undertake calls to potential sales leads and record the result in Netsuite
- Produce quotes for customers and close sales based on these quotes via Netsuite
- Answering the phone to cover sales e.g. after specific campaigns
- Undertaking and supporting specific marketing campaigns
- NSW events support such as providing specific customer support and advice on event site
- Contributing to presentations for public meetings to explain Solar Power
- Liaise with other State Offices within Energy Matters regarding marketing and sales activities
- Liaise as required with other staff in the NSW office as necessary
- Assist with general administration for the Sales Unit.
Decision making
- Manage the sales leads tools within Netsuite
- Identify appropriate sales information/material for publication of the web site
- When allocated, manage self-contained sales focused projects to ensure cost effective quality results.

- Quickly determine which customers require more information to assist the buying decision

Principal Accountability
The Office Administrator takes on the responsibility for organizing all administrative tasks in relation to the sale and installation of

New South Wales (Leichhardt) - PV Installation Coordinator
The NSW PV Installation Coordinator manages installs of Grid Connect and Stand Alone Power Systems for all of NSW and ACT. The NSW PV Installation Coordinator manages all interactions with our customers as soon as the sale has been finalised. He/she then autonomously organizes delivery, installation, payment and rebate processing in the most efficient way.
Functions and responsibilities
- Working out system order projections and priorities in partnership with State Manager
- Pre-ordering Solar Power system materials
- Ordering Solar Power components from Melbourne key warehouse
- Scheduling installations in alignment with installers
- Communicating with customers and installers before, during and after the installation
- Organizing shipments of solar systems
- Manage all necessary steps involved in the installation process within "Netsuite"
Decision Making
- Scheduling installations independently as per overall directions of State Manager
- Handling stock management independently
- Check and approve incoming installer invoices in co-operation with State Manager
The challenges of this position are:
- Ensure orders are complete and in line with customer expectations;
- Work closely with the warehouse manager to ensure the smooth shipment of all systems to the installer network
- Liasing with many parties from Melbourne ware house staff to couriers and customers;

Plumber - South Australia
Job purpose
The Plumber is responsible for the successful installation for the successful installation of all solar hot water and solar thermal related products.
Duties
- Handling all SHW Inquiries in your state
- Dealing directly with customers, performing site inspections

- Ensuring stock levels are at their optimum to meet installation demand
- Problem solving
- Ensuring our Quality Standards are met and the State's regulatory requirements are adhered to at all times on all types of job.
- Install Solar Hot Water systems, Hydronic Heating systems, etc.
- Project manage jobs without supervision as needed.
- Work locally and interstate as required installing other installations.
- Organise equipment/gear for jobs and forward order to maintain stock levels
Maintain a tidy store area and workshop.
Reporting relationships
The Plumber reports directly to the State Install Manager.
Principal accountabilities
- Adherence to all statutory rules and regulations applicable to the installation
- Adherence to all company and award OH&S guidelines
- Meet sales quota
- Successful installation of systems
- Properly and timely filled out documentation and certificates for systems
- Clean and tidy work areas on site and in the store and workshop
- Up to date and continuous improvement of product knowledge.
